The sun was shining bright and we could hear the chatter of the restaurant patio from afar. We set Joey in place, facing a wooden beam rising out of the ground to hold up the grape vines. We told him not to turn around until he heard Leanne's voice. Once Joey was set we gave the "ok" for Leanne to begin walking toward him, her train and veil beautifully behind her. She didn't say a word, she slowly walked all the way to him and touched his shoulder. He turned around to see her, covered his mouth, and turned back toward the wooden beam crying the happiest of tears. He slowly turned back toward his bride and gave her the biggest hug. They both stood there crying and hugging. It was so sweet and I truly felt honored to be a witness to this moment.
The weather forecast kept changing every day the week before the big day. Finally when Saturday arrived, we knew it was probably going to rain at some point during the day, but we were hopeful! As the day began the skies were clear and the sun was shining bright! It didn't begin to rain until the reception started. Perfect timing!
Oh, this day at the magnificent NH wedding venue, Zorvino Vineyards! What a beautiful summer dream! These two families were so sweet and everyone had their part in making this day so special. There were lots and lots of happy tears. Joey and Leanne have the best personalities and such kind hearts. They are selfless and so fun to be around. After spending time with their family and friends, it is clear that they feel the same way.
If you have ever read any of my wedding blogs before you know that toasts are one of my favorite parts of the reception, and boy did this wedding deliver on the toasts! Joey had his two best friends be his best men, and they both told separate speeches. Both of these were fantastic. So heartfelt, so loving, and hysterical. Leanne had both of her sisters be her maid/matron of honor. They created a slideshow for their speech, going through Leanne's whole life. Every time I looked over at Leanne and Joey they were either laughing or crying...the perfect response to a speech! Such a perfect day!
From the very first moment we arrived to the last hug on the dance floor, this group was so joyful and just fun to be around! Enjoy some of my favorite images from the day.
