Being a NH Wedding Photographer I have had my share of experiences at NH Wedding Venues. There are so many to choose from and just as unique as the couples who get married there. Choosing a venue can be such a daunting task. There are hundreds to choose from! If you have just started the venue searching process, take a look at my post where I break down how to choose a wedding venue! Every venue has it's perks, but these are a few of my favorites.
1. Wentworth By The Sea
Wentworth By The Sea is located right outside of Portsmouth NH in the town of Rye and Newcastle. This venue actually has two locations within the venue name to choose from. There is Wentworth By The Sea Hotel and Spa which is a grand historic hotel with a beautiful white building right on the water. The other is Wentworth By The Sea Country Club which is a beautiful golf course that is also right on the water.
2. Flaghill Winery
Flaghill Winery is one of my favorite wedding venues, I even chose it for my own wedding! When you come down the quiet road and turn into Flaghill Winery it feels as if you are escaping NH and entering Wine Country! Flaghill Winery is 110 acres of beautiful conservation land. They not only create award winning wines but they also make vodka, rum, and whiskey. This wedding venue is elegant and timeless, you will never regret getting married here! I know I don't! 3. Powder Major's Farm
Powder Major's Farm was actually a pivotal place during the Revolutionary War, located right in Madbury NH. It is named after it's historic significance of having gun powder when militia soldiers were in dire need. History aside this farm has acres of beautiful rolling hills and has so many great portrait spots to choose from. The farm has a large original (but updated) barn that is elegant and charming. 4. The Greenery
When I first saw this venue, my heart skipped a beat! This is basically what my wedding venue dreams are made of! The owner, who was formally a makeup artist for 15 years, built this venue from the ground up with all of her experience working with wedding venues in mind. The best part about this venue is how customizable it can be, even down to being able to change the chandeliers! The flawless white walls bounce the best and most flattering light, allowing all guests inside the venue to look their absolute best. This venue is also located right on Mckenzie's Farm which has acres of apple orchards! There is even an orchard right next to the venue that is private, so wedding guests can wander through the trees as they wish. The owner created a perfect, pristine, top notch wedding venue.
