I could not dream up a more perfect day than Sarah and Russell’s wedding day at The Thompson Inn in Durham, NH. In the days before their wedding you could feel the chilly fall air coming, but this day felt like summer was still holding on. There was not a cloud in the sky and the sun was shining bright through the many trees that surrounded the property. The property was picturesque and the inn was quaint quintessential New England!
Sarah and Russell wrote their own vows and neither of them made it through without crying. These two are clearly soulmates and it is fate that they met. If you are around these two for more than 5 minutes you will feel not only the love they have for one another but the genuine interest and care they have for anybody that they meet. They are two very special people.
The reception was a blast. I belly laughed during Russell’s brother/best man’s speech, which was more like a loving roast. I was brought to tears during the special dances, especially the way Russell moved his mother across the dance floor. I also cheered when Sarah grabbed the microphone during “Sweet Caroline” and was belting the song through the loud speaker. What a fun day and with such amazing people.
It was truly an honor to photograph this joyous day. Thank you for trusting me and letting me be a small part of it!
