Some people don't believe in soulmates. They don't believe that you can find "the one". Some people don't believe in fate.
I'm not one of those people.
All I know is what I've experienced, and my husband has been my best friend and other half for the past 11 years (since we met) and I believe! (If you haven't read our story, start here. )

I don't know how you are so familiar to me - or why it
feels less like I am getting to know you and more as though
I am remembering who you are. How every smile, every
whisper brings me closer to the impossible conclusion that
I have known you before, I have loved you before - in
another time, a different place - some other existence.

This poem is from this book. Highly recommend!
This year of marriage was full of growth and change. It amazes me that we are still learning new things about each other after so many years! We continue to grow individually which means there are always new layers to discover and learn about. We continue to try and become more introspective and empathetic toward the other, and I think that is key. Thank you for trying to always understand where I am coming from, what I need, and how I feel. I am a lucky woman! I feel so blessed to have such an incredible man to call my husband, who seconds as my best friend. Thank you for another year of marital bliss! I wouldn't want to do this life without you, it would be way too boring.
