What a gorgeous Boston day it was on Tuesday! The weather was a perfect 80 degrees and the sunset was to die for. I had such a great time meandering around the JFK Library steps and down the Harborwalk with Sara and Kevin!
Sara is originally from Maryland, she went to Penn State for college and then moved to Boston after graduation. Kevin is from Sweden and moved to Boston for his college experience. Their first date was at a restaurant in Brookline, right before Thanksgiving a few years back. It wasn’t until after the holidays, however, that they really began seeing each other frequently.
Kevin proposed to Sara on the beach in February in Chatham. He planned a beautiful weekend getaway. Earlier in the day they had walked on the beach but when Kevin noticed that the sunset was amazing he asked if Sara wanted to go back out there! She agreed and once they were on the beach again Kevin got down on one knee and asked her to marry him!
One of their good friends gave them this beautiful hand painted bottle of champagne as an engagement gift. The paintings all symbolized something that was special to Sara and Kevin. It was such a beautiful piece of artwork and such a thoughtful gift! Scroll down below to get a glimpse of it!
