The very first time I heard about The Barn at Powder Major’s Farm was from an inquiry I received in 2019. When I first saw it come through my inbox my first reaction was “a wedding venue in Madbury?! That’s right in my neck of the woods!”. Upon further research I discovered this venue was brand new and I knew I had to go check it out!
My first impression when driving up to Powder Major’s Farm was how quintessential New England it was. After meeting the incredibly kind owners, Chuck & Beth, I learned just how much history was behind this venue.
I could not WAIT to capture a wedding day here! I love how you can have your whole day, from start to finish, right there on the grounds. It is a venue where you can turn your vision into a reality.
Powder Major’s barn is classic, refurbished beautifully, and full of history! They also have a bonus space with beautiful natural light that you can use for a variety of purposes, including a backup ceremony space if it is raining! They have thought of everything and I can’t wait to be back here next year!
